Not realising just how creepy Amnesia: The Dark Descent was going to be.

Hearing a foreign noise for the first time, hide in a corner for what seems like a lifetime. Too afraid to press on. You choose to press on despite how batshit terrified you are of what's coming next. Rinse and repeat throughout the entire game.

I hadn't been this terrified (but very excited) over a game since my first time through Doom 3.

I would like someone to create a movie to the 7 hour war from the half life universe. If done correctly I think it could become a cool alien invasion movie. Hardly enough is said on the 7 hour war in the game and I think a movie would be pretty cool to explain it all.

I can see what your talking about, you don't want gears of war to turn into the CoD series and I utterly agree, but to be honest I want to see one more game from the GoW universe, a sequel from the 3rd game, killing stranded or uniting the CoG something like that. The ending to GoW 3 was horribly amazing, so amazing that I want to see what happens, to see what the characters' lives develop into. I wanna hear Baird complaining in the background and the awesome C. Carmine cracking jokes. I wanna see Anya and Sam too.

I also want to dIsagree with what Bagmup said; Are you fucking serious? The GoW multiplayer was diverse and amazing, games like CoD developed into laggy matches were half the players were camping and the other half were complaining.

Probably skyrim for me, I got it day one and had intentions of waiting a little till the first patches came out before starting. Well that was nearly five months ago now, and lately I have been distracted with revisting classics from the old days instead (hd remakes).

I was the same with DA: Origins, except I actually did get back to it. I am very much the same every time I play an Assassin's Creed game, but currently I have been unintentionally neglecting Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning.
